with 4-H taught me how to sew.

                                              In Grade school
I Won the Make it yourself with Wool contest for the county.

                                             In High school, my little
brother won 1st place competitive placing amongst
                                             all the county sewers, including
my sister and myself.  He made
a pair of pants with a zipper, pockets and jean seams.
                                             This is when I
became competitive, along with my awsome sister, who has made me learn faster than anyone I know, or else be left
                                             behind.

To Start College At 19, I won
a scholarship from sewing thru the 4-H program to college for $400.  That was a lot of money at that time.

                                             After College-
I started sewing for the elderly and other
sewers in the area who didn't
have time to finish their projects.
Also, College projects such as bras, Weddings, and pattern grading.

A Couple of shops asked me to sew for
                                             them.
I even had an outfit stolen from one shop, and I was actually flattered.

From this, I learned how to really sew, I learned to complete a project,
good or bad and sometimes beautiful.

Lately I learned I could sew even if I could not walk and was
wheelchair bound. Sewing is great for transferring my pain.
